September 28th, 2011, Amazon holds a media event to showcase it’s new line of Kindle devices and it’s new media tablet, the Kindle Fire. For those that log onto Amazon’s home page you’ll receive a message from CEO Jeff Bezos that sums up cost at the core of the announcement:
"There are two types of companies: those that work hard to charge customers more, and those that work hard to charge customers less. Both approaches can work. We are firmly in the second camp."
